I was working on something today and had a sudden flashback to when pre-teen pH was at a class with some other PDX kids and they were building a model city (that required consensus; so far, so Portland). But pH wanted to add schools, churches, oil refineries, and military bases–all things that she thought were necessary for the existence of the model city. She was outvoted. I was talked to after class.
